Computer Task Group shareholders are getting an extra three weeks to tender their shares in the Buffalo information technology firm’s acquisition by a Dutch company.
The companies on Thursday extended the deadline for shareholders to tender their shares to Oct. 12 after 77% of the shares had been tendered before the initial deadline.
Cegeka Groep, a Dutch IT firm, agreed in August to buy CTG for $170 million, or $10.50 per share, a 31% premium over its share price before the deal was announced, and more than the stock has traded at in two years, when the shares briefly topped $11 in April 2021.
CTG has downsized its Buffalo operations, selling off its two Delaware Avenue offices in favor of a headquarters in an Amherst office park.
