Poetry for Peace

Poetry for Peace, a one time open mic event in honor of Renee Good, Alex Pretti and Keith Porter.

Come listen to celebrated local poet Yamilla Tate, the event feature, as well as other talented poets.  Share your own poetry within the theme (sign up begins at 1230pm) or simply listen.  There will be opportunities for social action and ways to impact the community positively. This event arrives to bring a sense of community and togetherness in order to promote hope.  An event meant to inspire people.

Much thank you to Caffe@Amy’s for lending space for this event.  The resteraunt will be open and all are encouraged to order delicious food and beverages to enjoy.

Entry is free.  All ages welcome.
